Youth Ministry Survey Online

In an attempt to better minister to the youth of our church and to figure out how to best meet thier needs, a survey has been created on-line. If you have a youth at home and consider yourself a member of this community of faith (either your church membership is with Marshfield Christian Church, or you attend MCC and would like to see our youth ministry grow and change to meet the needs of your youth) you are invited to fill out a brief (4 question) survey. You will find the survey here.

Youth Ministry Vision Team

Marshfield Christian Church is expanding!

MCC is in the process of forming a team to plan the vision for the future of youth ministry in our congregation. The two-part team will be developing a job description and praying fervently for the youth of our congregation. Anyone interested on being a part of either the planning and/or praying portions of the YMVT is welcome to contact Pastor Alex at the church office.

VBS - Beach Party

It's time to head to the Beach!

Marshfield Christian Church will host Vacation Bible School on Saturday, July 26th. This one-day event will begin at 8am and continue through 3:30pm. During this time students will learn about the Be-Attitudes and grow in their understandin of the faith through story, science, games, crafts and even snacks.

Pre-registration is not required, but recommended. To pre-register for this year's VBS, please contact the church office.

Board Meeting Change (Part 2)

In a Special Board Meeting on May 4th, the Church Board voted to count that meeting as the May Board Meeting. The next full board meeting will be on June 8th at 6pm.

To allow our congregation to celebrate Mother's Day with the special women in thier lives, the Marshfield Christian Church board voted (on April 20th) to postpone our monthly meeting from May 11th to May 18th.

The Elders will meet at 5pm (on the 18th.) With the Church Board meeting at 6pm.

Mother's Day / Graduation Celebration

On May 11th Marshfield Christian Church will honor mothers and mothering as we celebrate Mother's Day during worship. In addition, we will honor our graduates for all of the hard work they've put in during their years of schooling. And, if that were not enough, we will also celebrate the birthday of the church as the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples on what has become known as Pentecost. It will be a day of celebration and remembrance. Join us for this very special Sunday.

Parking-lot Sale

Saturday, May 3rd, Marshfield Christian Church will host a Parking Lot sale.

Proceeds from the church-sponsored sale will benefit the Team Disciples: Celebrate Life, Relay for Life team. In addition to finding great bargains and being able to clean out your own storage spaces, you can rent a parking space for your own items and keep the proceeds for yourself. For more information, or to rent a space, please contact the church office.

Earth Sunday Celebration

This coming Sunday (4/20/2008) Marshfield Christian Church will celebrate Earth Sunday. The Sunday closest to Earth Day is a time for people of faith throughout the world to remember and give thanks for God's gift of the Earth.

We hope you'll join us in celebrating and caring for our planet as we focus on Environmental Stewardship in worship this Sunday.

Passover Seder - April 19th 5:30pm

Join us at MCC for a Passover Seder on the evning of Saturday, April 19th. We will gather in the Fellowship hall at 5:30pm for our celebration of the Seder and then we will enjoy a time of fellowship around the table with a pot-luck dinner.

Welcome to the "Upcoming Events" blog for Marshfield Christian Church. This is the new home for all things new and exciting here at the church. This is the first of what will likely be several blogs here on the MCC site. In the near future we will be transitioning to a blog for the sermons and shortly after that may begin a News Blog as well.
