Board Meeting Change

To allow our congregation to celebrate Mother's Day with the special women in thier lives, the Marshfield Christian Church board voted (on April 20th) to postpone our monthly meeting from May 11th to May 18th.

The Elders will meet at 5pm (on the 18th.) With the Church Board meeting at 6pm.

Mother's Day / Graduation Celebration

On May 11th Marshfield Christian Church will honor mothers and mothering as we celebrate Mother's Day during worship. In addition, we will honor our graduates for all of the hard work they've put in during their years of schooling. And, if that were not enough, we will also celebrate the birthday of the church as the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples on what has become known as Pentecost. It will be a day of celebration and remembrance. Join us for this very special Sunday.

Parking-lot Sale

Saturday, May 3rd, Marshfield Christian Church will host a Parking Lot sale.

Proceeds from the church-sponsored sale will benefit the Team Disciples: Celebrate Life, Relay for Life team. In addition to finding great bargains and being able to clean out your own storage spaces, you can rent a parking space for your own items and keep the proceeds for yourself. For more information, or to rent a space, please contact the church office.

Earth Sunday Celebration

This coming Sunday (4/20/2008) Marshfield Christian Church will celebrate Earth Sunday. The Sunday closest to Earth Day is a time for people of faith throughout the world to remember and give thanks for God's gift of the Earth.

We hope you'll join us in celebrating and caring for our planet as we focus on Environmental Stewardship in worship this Sunday.

Passover Seder - April 19th 5:30pm

Join us at MCC for a Passover Seder on the evning of Saturday, April 19th. We will gather in the Fellowship hall at 5:30pm for our celebration of the Seder and then we will enjoy a time of fellowship around the table with a pot-luck dinner.

Welcome to the "Upcoming Events" blog for Marshfield Christian Church. This is the new home for all things new and exciting here at the church. This is the first of what will likely be several blogs here on the MCC site. In the near future we will be transitioning to a blog for the sermons and shortly after that may begin a News Blog as well.
